Tesamorelin / TES — 10 mg
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone, the signal involved in regulating growth-hormone release from the pituitary gland. It interacts with GHRH receptors and influences the growth hormone–IGF-1 axis, a network involved in growth and metabolism. Researchers have investigated this pathway in relation to visceral adipose tissue, the fat surrounding internal organs, and body composition.
A specific tesamorelin pharmaceutical formulation is FDA-approved for excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy; it is not indicated for general weight-loss management.
